Stay Warm This Winter With Knitted Jumpers

gray knitted sweater

I’m writing this as I caught a clod today. Not the most pleasant feeling in the world. In fact… I HATE IT! I didn’t wear proper clothes for a few hours and, since it was snowing and freezing outside… you know what happened.

While my throat is hurting pretty bad, I figured I’d write a little something about winter clothing. Just a reminder for me to never underestimate cold weather again.

Knitted jumpers!

If the last one you wore was made by your grandmother, you should know they come in online stores. Joe Browns has them and I’m sure you can find plenty of other stores out there.

While most knitted clothes look old, some of them are stylish. You just have to know how to pick them and match them with the rest of your outfits.

Let’s take a look at the one below:

Let’s notice how the yellow and the dark gray match very well. You just need a little creativity and to remember that winter clothing can be color matched just like the clothes you wear in any other season.

What can you wear knitted jumpers with?

You must remember that anything knitted also looks “heavy”. Thus, wear your knitted jumpers when you’re trying put up a nice winter outfit.

While you could pull it off with a dress shirt, I would match the knitted sweater with a casual plaid shirt. Casual shirts are usually heavier in fabrics plus, the plaid pattern will make it look even heavier.

Here’s what I mean:

Other items you can wear your knitted jumpers with include cargo pants, jeans and a thinner blouse. The blouse fabric should be thinner because the jumpers will be on top. One of the basic rule of layering is that lighter fabric clothes are worn closer to the skin.

So go ahead and try a few knitted jumpers. I mentioned earlier Joe Browns so go ahead and visit the site to see a few models.
