[I Bought] Brown Cotton Shorts, a Denim Tie and an Ascot

I’m really excited whenever I buy accessories and you will too once you see the photos. Although the prices were not discounted, I think I got pretty decent deals compared with what the other stores had to offer.

One more thing: if you’re going to make more than one purchase, always use a car to visit as many stores as possible in one day.

These shorts were the best quality for the money. Plus, they let me keep the belt they had on which will work perfectly with my boat shoes.

I don’t usually visit mustang due to their higher than average prices but I did so today. I never had the chance to buy a denim tie and, given it’s fair price I didn’t hesitate much.

Since this is an unexpected place to be wearing denim, I’ll always make sure I pair it with some other denim item of clothing, be it jeans or a denim shirt.

Ascot ties are great. They’re a classic accessory that few people wear them and, to be honest, I’m puzzled why.

[I Bought] A Cotton Spring Jacket

I was really looking for a brown leather jacket to be honest, I just couldn’t find one. So I settled for the next best thing (besides a sports jacket): a cotton jacket.

For some reason I keep coming back to Zara to do my important purchases. The price wasn’t exactly a bargain but at least it fits me well.

One more thing: the size of this jacket is XL which, surprisingly, was the only one that fitted me. I’m an M guy but even L was, in this case, too small for me.

Since I was missing a decent pair of shoes to wear at work, I went into this little store downtown because I knew they had what I wanted.

As always, I ended up buying more than I wanted but rest assured the prices were decent.

So here goes:

[I Bought] Brown Suede Leather Brogue Spectator Shoes

Yes yes, the name sounds complicated but they look incredible. Judge them for yourself and imagine all the ways they can be matched with other clothes.

One thing about those shoes: they’re a liiittle to big. About half a number. But the nice lady at the store came to my rescue with these adjusters that, when out inside the shoe, solved the problem. My shoes fit me perfectly now.

This costed me an extra $7.

I don’t know if you’ll categorize these boots as brogue boots because, although the wingtip is there, the perforations that usually appear on the toe cap are missing. Nevertheless, I’m happy with my new acquisition: great price, great fabric, classy look.

Prices are continuing to drop in February so I had to do an emergency budget increase. I went back to Zara where shirts are getting cheaper and cheaper… but since I already got 2 of them last month I picked up this cool-looking leather belt. It’s really thin, which gives it a dose of formality.

I also found a great deal over at Pull and Bear and got myself a pair of leather sneakers at an unbeatable price. Here’s my two acquisitions below:

Zara being my favorite brand and since we’re in the middle of the discount season, I did another quick check to see if prices went any lower. I just had to step in when I found myself in front of the store.

And I did. I bought a cool white dress shirt (any man should have at least one) and a green top whose price was 30% off since the last time I was there.

Sales prices are dropping this January and I went on a bargain hunt. I wish I had a bigger budget but still, I’m happy with my acquisitions. I’m particularly happy about the red scarf which I’ve been looking for some time now. But you’ll see in a minute.

[I Bought] A Pair of Cufflinks

Remember how I bought that french cuff shirt for New Years? Obviously, I needed a pair of cufflinks to go with it… and figuring out what kind wasn’t hard… it wasn’t hard at all.

I needed something with red. And, although I wondered for hours in both our malls to find them, I decided o buy them from the very store that sold me the shirt.
