The Palazzo
Like at the Venetian, the Palazzo’s book is operated by Cantor Gaming. The Palazzo’s sportsbook is called “Lagasse’s Stadium,” and it includes some amenities other books don’t offer. You are greeted by a host or hostess at the entrance, and the room includes plenty of places to eat and drink.
Unlike other books that offer row seating, the seating at Lagasse’s Stadium’s rows ascend as you move through it. Hence the “stadium” vibe. The book does not offer desk-style kiosks with individual televisions.
There are 13 TVs in all in the room, including one massive screen. There are VIP sections in the back of the room behind the stadium seating, but it’s worth noting that the betting cashier is curiously closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. So, if you want to bet on sports on those days, you have to do so on the casino floor outside the sportsbook.
Wynn Las Vegas
The sportsbook at the Wynn isn’t the biggest in the world, but the place does offer nice amenities with a clean look overall. Unlike some that offer relatively calm and dark atmospheres, the Wynn’s is bright and extremely loud. Recent renovations have the place looking outstanding.
The book has tons of TVs and shows sports and horse racing simultaneously. There are approximately 50 desk-style kiosks with leather swivel chairs. There is also a VIP section behind the kiosks, and smoking is only allowed in the very back rows of the room.
There is plenty of traffic going in and out of the Wynn, and this place will get packed on big game days, like NFL Sundays and March Madness.
Caesars Palace
If you want a big with plenty of people and lots of action, you can do worse than heading over to Caesars Palace. Caesars is one of the premier destinations on the Strip to begin with, and their sportsbook is yet another reason to check it out.
The Caesars book is versatile in that it has a number of big TV screens, but those screens can be broken up into smaller screens on days with plenty of games going on. The sportsbook is right next to the casino’s poker room, and it is located basically right in the middle of the casino floor.
The betting board is massive and easy to see, high above the ground. It’s a noisy environment in general, but noisy environments tend to be among the most fun to experience when betting on sports.
Westgate SuperBook
The Westgate is the only book among these listed that isn’t located on the Strip, but it’s worth the short drive to get there. The book has been renovated over the years and it is now the premier destination when it comes to betting on sports in Las Vegas.
There are over 100 leather chairs in the massive room, as well as desk-style kiosks and a number of tables and chairs the further you go into the room. There are also dining and drink options in the back of the sportsbook. It’s a dark space, but that makes it ideal for catching the action on their numerous TV screens.
