All this Company Does is Attack Lululemon

This brand became a joke in our office.

If you’re a guy on Instagram, chances are you’ve gotten an ad from the menswear brand “birddogs”. Like pretty much everything they put out, it was likely an attack on lululemon. At one point, it felt like our entire office was getting fed these ads nonstop.

Rather than harbor resentment for the guys we decided to try them out, and the results shocked us…

The pants are great.

The New York-based startup figured out the formula so many companies have tried and failed to master. They made pants that look like traditional khakis, but stretch like we’ve never seen before. They are extremely comfortable, but still look nice. We bought our test pair two weeks ago and I pretty much haven’t taken them off since. I used to be a big ABC pants guy, but I’ve started wearing those pants less and less, especially to the office. I still like them, but I’m much more drawn to the classic look of birddogs than the techy look of lululemon’s.

Is it still corny that birddogs keeps going after lululemon? Yes, but at least their product can back it up. We’re still going to make fun of these guys though, at least until they stop trash talking lululemon in every ad.

The #1 Trend You Need to Stop

Stop wearing pants that don’t fit.

There is one trend that hasn’t gone out of style in over 100 years: pants that fit. Skinny jeans and baggy pants have come and gone, but pants that are neither too tight nor too loose have never gone out of style. It’s timeless. Plenty of brands make this cut, so we wanted to save you some time and find the best pair.

Here is our top pick…

birddogs stretch khakis

This New York-based startup nailed something that so many others have tried and failed at. You know those “tech pants” everyone’s been trying to make – the ones that look like regular khakis but actually stretch like your workout clothes? Well, these guys pulled it off. I got myself a pair for a tech pants test two weeks ago, and honestly, I’ve been living in them ever since. They just fit perfectly.

The lesson from birddogs might just be that we don’t always need to reinvent the wheel. Well-fitting clothes will never go out of style.
