The first day of work as a writer or website designer is the best day of your life. You talk to your seniors for tips and two words keep popping up from all of them, “Creative Burnout”. You shrug this off as a myth because you absolutely adore your job. Then one day, you pace decreases and you just do not feel like working.

Our creative energies all come in different places. Some may get their creativity from food. What still stands is that different things motivate and push us. As would be expected from people who work in the creative industry. However, there will be days when you feel like you can’t just can’t do it anymore. That is the burnout.

How to Sense the Burnout

The creative burnout is not something that will happen in a day. It sometimes takes a few days or months for it actually happen. Here a few signs that show that your river of creativity is running dry.

  • Unlike the first days, you dread waking up and going to work.
  • You don’t seem to care about your passion or playing at odds hunter anymore
  • Everything around you seems to be grey and lifeless
  • Doing your job turns into a struggle

These are but a few signs that burnout is headed your way. However, fortunately, there are many ways you can conquer this burnout.
