Review: Portable Power Outlet from MyCharge

For those that like to be connected no matter where they are then we are reviewing a product that is a must have. Whether you plan on camping, tail-gating or simply travel alot then here we have a great external power pack for review, the AdventureUltra from myCharge.

Whilst external battery packs for phones have been on the market for several years, this is the first time we have seen a pack that can be used like an actual plug connection with a three-pin connector. This is great for people on the go looking at charging their devices, including laptops and other gadgets.

Design

The design is solid in a nice black matte finish and made from quality materials. We wouldn’t hesitate to take this on a job site or for camping. Whilst it is slightly heavy to carry, it is not too heavy where it stops you from taking it with you, after all this is a huge capacity battery pack with great charging speed.

Charge

For charging cellulars this has enough capacity to keep any phone charged for several days. For laptop use, we have a Lenovo Thinkpad and get over 2.5 full charges from the Power pack. The power pack also contains 2 USB A connectors and 1 USB C which makes this even more worth the price.

Price

Priced at less than $200 this is great value and will be certain to be used more than you expect. For the price we expect it to be a best seller this holiday season.

The AdventureUltra has a maximum power output of 45 watt and can be used with any electrical product,  including 2 in 1 laptops and new laptops, such as the 12-inch MacBook, that require less than 45 watts either when powered off and solely charging or when powered on and charging simultaneously.

This is an excellent product and for those that are often in places with no access to a direct access point then this is perfect for you. We have used this hundreds of times and realize we use it more than we anticipated. From camping trips to being located in a coffee shop with no power to being in an airport with limited power outlets we highly recommend this product.
